brother-in-law Oliver Kimball, in Quincy.9 Baptized into LDS church by Orson
Hyde, Dec. 1842, in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois.10 Ordained an elder by Orson Pratt, Mar.
1844.11 Ordained a high priest and bishop by
Heber C. Kimball, Brigham Young, and Parley P. Pratt, 8 Oct. 1844.12 Moved to Nauvoo, fall 1845.13 Admitted to Council of Fifty, 11 Jan.
