Miss Carma Smith
Snowflake--Miss Carma Smith and Richard N. Heywood will be married Sept. 17 in the Arizona Temple.
Parents of the engaged couple are Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence N. Smith, of Snowflake, and Dr. and Mrs. Leland Heywood, of Mesa.
Miss Smith attended Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah , and graduated from Arizona State University. She is a member of Lambda Delta Sigma and Beta Chi Epsilon.
Mr. Heywood attended ASU and graduated from BYU. He now is a student at the University of Utah Medical School, Salt Lake City. He is a member of Delta Phi and Phi Rho Sigma. He also served a mission for the Church of Jesus
Christ of Letter-day Saints.
Ceremony Is Held in Temple

Yesterday in Arizona Temple Miss Carma Smith and Richard N. Heywood were married.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence N. Smith, Snowflake. The bridegroom's parents are Dr. and Mrs. Leland Heywood, Mesa.
For the ceremony the bride wore a gown of lace over taffeta styled with a stand-up peter pan collar. The floor length skirt had a back bustle. A pearl tiara held a waist-length veil of tulle, and she carried pink and white carnations.
After Sept. 26 the couple will live in Salt Lake City.
Attendants for the couple were Misses Alene Smith, maid of honor, Lucile Smith and Launiel Bridgewater, bridesmaids.
Alfred L. Heywood served as best man.
After the wedding a reception was held in Mesa.
